Overview
NetApp Private Storage for Amazon Web Services (AWS) allows enterprise customers to combine the performance and control of private storage resources with the efficiency and elasticity benefits of the AWS cloud. The offering integrates NetApp FAS enterprise storage, AWS cloud and network resources and colocation services into an infrastructure solution for on-demand performance computing. NetApp Private Storage for AWS is available using dedicated customer owned storage or in an Adirondack Networks provided shared storage model. With this solution, organizations gain public cloud cost, flexibility and time to market benefits while maintaining data control, compliance and mobility.
Fast, Flexible Deployment Options
NetApp Private Storage for AWS delivers the ultimate in flexibility. Customers can provide their own NetApp dedicated storage or select NetApp private storage within an Adirondack Networks-provided shared storage model. Then choose from four pre-architected Adirondack Networks CloudAttach packages—all priced based on the customer’s specific NetApp configuration.

Features
In both the dedicated and shared storage options, NetApp FAS enterprise storage is connected to AWS through a dedicated high-speed connection called Amazon Direct Connect. The packages provide all the foundational services in quick-start CloudAttach packages including AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), AWS Direct Connect network connection, and data center colocation services to house the NetApp FAS and integration services to streamline deployment.
