Product Overview
The Netra SPARC T4-1B handles high volume workloads with a compact, powerful, and
efficient blade design.
The SPARC T4 processor delivers five times single-threaded performance improvement
over the previous generation SPARC T3 processor, making the Netra SPARC T4-1B blade
module ideal for broad range of telecommunication network infrastructure workloads.
The Netra SPARC T4-1B comes powered by one SPARC T4 processor with 8 cores and
up to 64 simultaneous threads. This highly dense blade, offers 16 DIMM slots, two hotpluggable 2.5 inch drives, integrated 10GbE networking, and built-in PCI Express
Generation 2 expansion. Oracle Solaris and virtualization software such as the Oracle
Solaris Zones and Oracle VM Server for SPARC technology make the Netra SPARC T4-
1B a cost effective platform for large-scale telecommunication data center consolidation.
Supported in the Sun Netra 6000 chassis, the Netra SPARC T4-1B blade module provides
a network infrastructure solution with carrier-grade reliability leveraging the chassis based
redundant, hot swappable components such as fan modules, high efficiency AC or DC
power supply modules and PCIe ExpressModules. Each server module is equipped with
an Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM) service processor that offers industrystandard protocols for standalone system management as well as integration with many
industry leading management systems.
Combining the carrier-grade availability of the Sun Netra 6000 chassis with the Netra
SPARC T4-1B blade provides a platform designed to meet the most demanding
telecommunication workloads.

Adirondack Networks Hardware Warranty:
Depot warranty includes telephone support and defective part replacement. Warranty period is 30 days from date of sale on computer components, configured refurbished workstations and servers. Telephone support and RMA department assistance is available between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time), Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Warranty is void on items termed "as is" basis.
Extended Hardware Warranty:
The extended warranty period must be purchased in 12-month increments. An extended warranty is available and may be purchased at the time of sale, during, or at the end of an existing warranty time period.
Warranty Repair:
If a component part or system becomes defective outside of the warranty period, Adirondack Networks shall charge a nominal fee for evaluation and repair of the defective part. Any replacement or additional parts needed for repair shall be billed to the customer. Customers will be given a quote on repair costs prior to a repair being completed.
